What if you could have all your dentistry that you have been putting off for years in the conventional dental office in one or two comfortable visits?
What if you could finally receive all of the treatment while sleeping- free of fear and pain?
We specialize in Sedation Dentistry and Sleep Dentistry, treating people with dental phobias and anxieties We offer different types of sedation dentistry. These include administering different types of oral medication. Which medication depends on the needs of the patient.
In this way the patient and the dentist are comfortable providing and receiving the best possible dental care-safe, and free of stress and pain.
What is Sedation Dentistry or Sleep Dentistry?
The patient is given oral medication about one hour before your appointment. The medicine puts you in a light state of sedation and you sleep thru your dental appointment. It is Safe! When you awaken your dental treatment is completed.
You need someone to drive you to and from your appointment. Once you arrive, you are allowed to rest comfortably in a warm, quiet room under a cozy blanket. During the entire time you are here, we will closely monitor you to ensure your safety.
Complex dental treatments that often require six or more appointments can be done in as little as one!
All while you sleep.
Sedation dentistry is a safe and effective way to provide complex dental care painlessly to an adult who has anxiety and fear about their dental care.
Some patients have avoided good dental care for ten to fifteen years because of apprehension and embarrassment. Sedation can help patients that have sensitive teeth, hate needles, have a gag reflex, are embarrassed by their smile or simply fear the dentist. This safe alternative to needles or "gas" places you in a cozy state of total relaxation, leaving you with little or no memory of the experience.
What may normally take several office appointments to correct, can often be accomplished in just one, peaceful, visit through sedation. Once we have authorization from your primary care physician we give you a small pill to take prior to your appointment, which will initiate the relaxation process before you arrive at our office. Once you have reached the appropriate level of sedation, your dental treatment will begin.
We utilize the latest in medical technology to ensure your comfort and safety throughout the visit. Our trained and experienced staff remains with you from the moment you arrive until the completion of your treatment.
