Kris has spent her entire adult life working in dentistry. She attended Worcester Technical Institute’s Dental Assistant’s Program where she graduated at the top of her class and received the Academic Excellence Award. She practiced her chair side assisting for six years before moving onto orthodontic assisting for another six years.
While still working as an orthodontic assistant she attended Quinsigamond Community College’s Dental Hygiene program, and graduated in 2001 with highest honors, receiving both the Academic Excellence and Health Promotion Awards. Kris was vice president of the Student Dental Hygiene Association in 2000. She was also inducted into the Dental Hygiene National Honor Society.
Kris gains great satisfaction from helping her patients to obtain their best possible oral health. Kris has strong beliefs that education and prevention are very important in dealing with oral disease.
When not practicing dental hygiene, Kris enjoys spending time with her husband, Steve, her two dogs, her Arabian horse, Sugar, and her very large extended family. She loves the outdoors and enjoys camping, kayaking, boating, hiking, and visiting Caribbean islands when it is too cold to play outside in New England.
Cindy worked with Dr. Gobran for 4 years as a Dental Assistant and now continues working here but as a Hygienist. Cindy Graduated with an Associates Degree from Briarwood College Dental Assisting Office Administration program and still is a DANBE Certified Dental Assistant. Cindy then went to Lincoln College of New England, “formerly Briarwood College”, to obtain an Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene. She graduated as valedictorian of the class and recipient of, The Colgate Student Achievement Award for excellence in patient care. She is a member of Sigma Phi Alpha; dental hygiene honor society as well as a member of the American Dental Hygiene and Dental Assisting Association.
In 2013, Cindy joined Lincoln College of New England as clinical lead instructor for the dental assisting department and as an adjunct instructor for the dental hygiene department. She also teaches several dental science didactic courses for the dental assisting department. For the last four years, she has volunteered in events such as; Give Kids a Smile, The CHIP program and Mission of Mercy of CT.
Fun Fact: Cindy has been married for 31 years and has three adult children. She also loves to spoil her 6 year old Maltase dog. She enjoys sewing costumes for dancers.
